[TTT #10] Two Things that ACTUALLY Changed My Life as a Creative – 29 December 2022

šŸ’” In the Two Tip Thursday series I share 2 photography tips regarding social media, business, practical suggestions, mindset and everything you need to become a prošŸ“ø

TIP #1

Learn Photoshop.

It might be obvious for some of us, but if you don’t know how to use Photoshop you’re missing out🫢

Photoshop allows you to create literally anything that comes into your mind šŸ¦„

And during a photoshoot, if you know how to use Photoshop you’ll be able to compose your images differently and come up with original ideas šŸ“ø

It’s not the simplest software ever but it’s totally worth it.

I guarantee it.

āš”ļøThe fastest way to learn it is to take a course like the one I have on Skillshare. It’s 5h 30min, designed for photographers.

You can watch it for free for 30 days by signing up using this link.

Or learn it on YouTube or everywhere else. Just do it šŸ˜€

TIP #2

Bracket your prices.

When trying to learn how to price your work, do not propose a ā€œfixedā€ price in your first proposal.

Instead of saying ā€œ$200 for 15-second videosā€, try saying ā€œfor a 15-second video, I usually ask between $200 and $300, depending on the client’s needsā€.

This will give you a lot more flexibility in the negotiation.
